when inserting object excel file, I'm only getting 75 rows, how can I get the entire File ???
Hi Carlos,
Can you provide the version of MicroStation and an example of Excel file? When inserting an object you are representation of object that you are linking not the entire spreadsheet object. In order to bring in the entire spreadsheet you would need to use the Paste Special method and either link or embedded the spreadsheet into your design file.
See the following wiki:

open the excel in excel select all the cells you want and choose copy and dont close it yet
then in mstn select paste special ... now you have options
My prefered is embedded. as it will never auto update anyway in mstn, this will copy paste and make it part of the dgn so when you send to client they live together as one .. but the original no longer has any connection to msnt dgn... this prevents unauthorised editing and or deletion of the original..
The option is to link it and it needs the original to remain in its path and untouched even though settings say it will auto update it wont this feature has never worked ( I bet it still doesnt work in CE either) you have to manually tell mstn to update all links ( why I dont like it)
or worst option ole paste as a picture ... produces poor quality prints of your excel.. but easier than typing and drawing lines and text..
If it still is ugly and your not using CE,
Then go full old school
export the excel to Csv or text with columns delimited, then run old basic macro from bentley table.bas
you'll have to do some trial and error for widths ,,, dont use any override symbology or annotation scale as its old and doesnt understand..
but it will produce pretty table with lines and text and you can use the fence stretch to fix it nicer.... takes a bit longer than paste special but can produce pretty good results that print consistantly with youre company print stds
