Hi
I've worked in a file for a while, and all of a sudden my shapes started behavior odd. When I just hoover the mouse over it, it displays the select tool as it does when I use flood. See picture.
Have I accidentally changed settings or why did it start to do this?
My problem is it looks like this:
When normal is it doesn't select the shape if I hoover over it:

In the preferences of V8i SS4 go to
Input and look under
Locate Interiors.
Pick a choice there.
This setting me vary between Microstation versions (V8i or CE). In future posts tell us which version you are using and the OS (Win3.11, Win7, Win10). This way it is a lot easier for people to pinpoint your problem and come up with a suitable answer.

Oh, sorry. Running Aecosim connect edition.
Thanks for your reply but it only helps me half way. It don't select the object by me clicking inside the shape after changing the setting you proposed. But, if I hover over one of the lines if the shape it lights up the inside. Thats not how it usually works. Next question is how it got this way, I'm 100% certain me or someone else have change that setting.
Still looks like this

Hi Robert,
Have you check if you have a Display Style with fill turn on closed shapes?
Probably what you looking for is wireframe.
Also, have you check view fill under View Attributes? [ CTRL+B ]
Hope this helps and regards

I had checked the fill option. But it seems the display style had some way ended up as "cut - drawing". Almost everything looked the same as with wireframe except that shape behavior. Thanks!!
Check your accusnap settings. Turn of the Identify Element Atomatically option
