I have just upgraded from V8I select series 2 to 3. Before, I could move or copy an object, drag it to any distance and I would get a repeating snap for the distance. Now, I cannot get that repeating snap unless I type a specific distance. AccuDraw and AccuSnap are on. I can draw lines and get repeating distances without key-in but it doesn't work for move or copy any more.
Hi Joshua,
I've investigated this in V7, V8, V8i SS4 and CE. I found that AccuDraw only records values typed in distance fields and not any random distances drag on screen while using Move/Copy tools. Can you please record a video clip for SS2 including AccuDraw? That will help us to understand this issue clearly.
Thanks,
Manoj
I no longer have access to SS2 so that's not possible.
Joshua,
Maybe you done some placement (Line, Circle etc.) before you use move/copy tools. AccuDraw recalls last random values of the element placed. i.e if you place a circle by two points in view of value 12.3634 then move tool will also remember to indexing on 12.3634.
BTW, you can close this post by clicking on 'VERIFY ANSWER' button if we answers your query.
Thanks and keep posting :-)

Thank you for your help. I will close it out but I am very certain that it used to function as described with move and copy as I used it daily for the past 8 years.
I have an old version (8.05.something) floating around on our backup server. I'll install it at some stage and get back to this topic.
once you have used a distance keyed in , you get the T bar when you are near to the distance last used...eve if use drag I get the last keyed in distance at the T bar
