I have just watched the video of the above blog by @Shaylesh Lunawat at https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/b/microstation_blog/posts/like-v8i-you-ll-love-connect-recommended-scales and I have to say that 'm confused. I understand what is going on but the resultant 1:100 scale ref attachment to the sheet must be wrong, as there is so much of the sheet left to fill. Why didn't it recommend a scale of 1:50 which would fit the sheet better ans was actually the original scale proposed.
Thanks for the update but why does this only work with some workflows? I don't see the same settings when trying to attach a reference from the References dialog.

The scale it defaults to not recommends is based on the Drawing seed that he has selected for the tool.

yep
Hi Stuart,
The dataset used in the video contained some hidden elements due to which it calculated 1:100 scale. I'll update the video with another dataset, which shows better fitted reference.
Thanks,
Shaylesh
