How can i attach a rotated model file into the title block with the same orientation?
I used rotate view and it should look like this:
But when i attach it to my title block using reference attach it shows the original orientation of the model instead of the rotated orientation that i would like to show.
Hi Andrew,
I'm using Microstation V8i (SELECTseries 3) Version 08.11.09.714
I rotated the model using rotate view and looked like this:
But when i attach it to my titleblock in sheet model, it goes back to its original orientation:
I need to insert it to look like the first picture.
after you attach the reference file, rotate it (rotate reference) and not the view.

user never mentioned geo-referencing. Don't confuse the user.
They also mentioned it did not align with the title block.
The user has two choices. Either rotate the title block to align with the reference, or rotate the reference to align with the title block.
If they are attaching multiple references and need these to line up, then rotating the title block might be easier. If it is only one file, then either one can be rotated.
Wouldn't a correctly rotate saved view be easier? If there are multiple files that need to line up then just copy the reference and reset to point at the other file/s.
not everyone is familiar with saved views
And saved views can save more than just view rotation, which could be an unwanted complication.
