Using MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3): do I always have to click my cursor in the key-in box prior to typing in a key-in command? Is there a way to make it so that if I type, MS automatically knows I'm trying to key-in? It is like that in AutoCAD with the command line.
Thanks!
Hi Daniel,
a solution provided by mwlong using F key is one alternative.Another is to use already mapped keys:
It means using Esc > Enter will display key-in dialog and you can type a command.
I think it's about a personal preferences whether F key (one key pressed, but you have to configure it) or Esc > Enter (two keys required, but it's default feature) is more friendly way ;-)
With regards,
Jan
