I'm using the free version of Bentley view. Now I installed the Update 11.The connection client works well and everything seems to be okay. But when I start Bentley View CONNECT edition, I get the message: "Unable to start "Bentley View" Licensing service failed with error code -1. Please contact your local Site Administrator for further assistance."I am the local Site Administrator, but have no idea what to do. Can anyone help?Thanks a lot.Claus
now I got a new link for downloading Bentley view. I deinstalled the previous version and installed with the newer file. The message ist the same.

Could you please temporarily disable your antivirus and then try to open Bentley View again. If this works it would indicate that your antivirus rules need some adjustments.
If this does not work please create a SR and attach connection client logs and windows event logs.
From File Explorer:%CommonProgramFiles%\Bentley Shared\CONNECTION Client\LogCollector
press enter
when the Log collector window pop ups, click in Collect and provide a name for the file and a location.
Once the logs are collected, add them to the SR

I disabled my virus scanner, but the problem could not be solved. I deinstalled all bentley stuff from the last days und reinstalled it, but the message is the same.
I looked for a log-collector, in ..bentley shared\connetion client but there is no such program. And I don't know how to create a SR.
