I'm using the free version of Bentley view. Now I installed the Update 11.The connection client works well and everything seems to be okay. But when I start Bentley View CONNECT edition, I get the message: "Unable to start "Bentley View" Licensing service failed with error code -1. Please contact your local Site Administrator for further assistance."I am the local Site Administrator, but have no idea what to do. Can anyone help?Thanks a lot.Claus
There is no LogCollector.exe on my PC. Windows-log is possible. Where should I send it?

I had this with MicroStation CE11. The Connection client was preventing the application from opening i.e. trial ended, even though it wasn't. To fix it, I installed MicroStation CE11 on another PC logged in as the user and it worked. This then corrected the original PC issue.
Maybe View CE is doing the same!!!

Try temporarily renaming your C:\Program Files\Bentley\Bentley View CONNECT Edition\BentleyView\ConnectAdvisor folder to something other than "ConnectAdvisor" and see if this makes a difference. This will also help to see if the issue could be coming from Connection Client.
