Hi
I want to hear if there is no way to make dynamic legends, for example. with reports or other function.
I have tried with report function but without a good result.
My wish is something like this. If you could pull the level name out with line style or colors

FlexiTable for MicroStation V8i can do that. Unfortunately it's not available for MicroStation CONNECT.

What do you mean by 'dynamic'? Do you just want an app. that creates a legend? 'Dynamic' implies that something happens in response to a stimulus, but I don't know what the stimulus might be.

Dynamic i mean, if I create a new level, it will automatic came on my list. I came from Autodesk Revit, so some of the name i use is from here. :-)
If I make a new dore it will came on my list. I have maked a celle list in Microstation connect with repport and table. So if I make a copy ore place a new cell it will automatic come on my list.
I managed to a make a cell that has a fill box and text text box and place it via relative cell and if thats the active level then the colour matches the active level but I cant get the text to be "level name text"
Then I just place the cell as may times as I want but change the active level first... personally
I prefer a series of boxes and just change them to suit...I'm sure this could be done in vba, to draw the box and colour it ...
There was a nice vba floating around that makes colour swatches of the colour table by drawing and colouring and moving across to the right... you might be able to reverse engineer it for your needs... and by means of imputing or creating selection of the levels to use... seems like a lot of work compared to by level and some boxes already filled

Unfortunately, two requests in three years doesn't give confidence to investing time & money in product development.
Why don't you put it on the Microstation Ideas portal: https://microstation.ideas.aha.io/ ?
If there is more than those two people who are interested, they'll vote it up.
Our local user group BUGVA has made a FREE create legends ( Connect Ed) VBA .. I have not used it but the president assures me that it is very good in CE and has pdf instructions file too... FYI haven't tried it in V8i worth a try ok?
https://bugva.org/vba/
Then choose the create legends down load from the above page
lots of good stuff here

Creating a legend is pretty straightforward: FlexiTable does that for MicroStation V8i...
However, the OP wants a dynamic legend — one that updates itself when levels are added or removed. VBA can't do that. For CONNECT, one must write a C# or C++ application.

I'm not aware of anyone who purchased FlexiTable for its legendary capabilities.
If you just want a making legends macro feature then there is a free one on the bugva website but its not as versatile as Flexitable and its not dynamic...
If you want dynamic then I think GIS instead of CAD might make it easier as you can create a query that will read and recreate a legend but its still not automatic you would have to run the query each time you open the file just incase new layers were added since last legend...
hmmm ok what about using thematic in mstn will it auto update from all levels used the generated legend... thematic in GIS does this easier...in mstn its a view attribute style thingy.. not easy to format and add text...
