Does anyone have an updated barmenu.ma that would work with connect edition ORD?
Hi Greg
As has been mentioned here the BarMenu MDL operation and concept is quite old and superseded a number of times over. It was designed by Bill Steinbock but has not been looked at for many years, I think since XM. As the operation of this did not work properly when the V8i version was released a MDF2XML tool was developed to import these old menus into DGNLib files to help with the transition in this version. Now that we have a Ribbon type of menu it is another concept for the menus but you could still use this tool in your transition to import these old BarMenu MDF files to the Ribbon menus.

That's really not what I was looking for. I could also learn to use Civil 3d( a much better product ) if I wanted to re-do everything that's ever been set up to actually create the product that we create to make money with. Most companies don't work in a fantasy zone where people sit around an play video games all day and have time to create new ways to draw a simple line, or place a simple piece of text in a file so that it can show up on a plotted sheet of paper, so that a contractor can get a worker to dig a hole in the correct location. I find that Bentley has completely lost touch with reality in an attempt to create a crappy product that seems to work much better on a sales video than it does in a production environment.....
