I have been using the HTML Author for years for Cell libraries and cell selection and placement.
This worked with Microstation Connect Edition Update 10.
I recently installed Connect Edition Update 12.
The key in Browser connect opens the IE browser but when I select a cell from with in the page I get
When I can get this at the bottom of the page and I cannot place the cell.
I don't use Cell Selector as my understanding is it is no longer supported.
Is there anything else?
I went back and found my post from some years back that resolve our issues using HTML Author for Cell libraries.
This link will take you there and it explains how you must change the Registry for Internet Explorer to work with the HTML web page.
I have determined that this "temporary fix" still works for Connect Edition and with both Windows 7-10.

A workaround is: Runing your MSCE as administrator. Then you will have write privilege for uhtm3d.dgn file.
Thanks. The issue is mute now as I have moved to CU13.1. The HTML browser does not work. I am told a defect has been filed.
I was wondering if this was ever fixed ? I am attempting to publish and use cells from the published page and it is not working.
Connect 10.13.01.01.

It did work in CU10, however after that it went south. I am told it has been elevated to the design team.
