How to export 3D linestyle to dwg/Navisworks/ convert to solid?

In my model I've some 3D linetypes (for example a wall). I would like to convert it to a model for clashdetection in Navisworks or Autocad (C3D), dwg-format

Is that possible? And what is the workflow for that?

    You could look into the tool: "Drop linestyle". It should convert your linestyle into the 3D-objects it consists of. I am not that familiar with the tool and it did not work that well the last time I tried it.

    A quick copy fromt the help-file: 

    Drop Linestyle

    Used to convert any element with a custom line style to an identically appearing group of primitive elements with standard line styles. Dash strokes are converted to line or line string elements. Point symbols are converted to primitive elements but not dropped to individual vectors.

    You can access this tool from the following:



    • Ribbon: Drawing > Home > Groups > Drop split button
    • Ribbon: Modeling > Home > Groups > Drop split button
    • Toolbox: Custom Line Styles
    Key-in: DROP LINESTYLE
