Simple question really, I have a home license code which I understand will work with V8i but I don't know how to use it with Connect.
Can anyone advise how you go about using the home license?
Have a look on the licensing forum there are discussions about this on there. I believe the current situation is that as Connect uses the connect client login to validate the licence you have to log in using that. There is no longer a home licence as such.
If that's the case then I have no issue with that approach as I'm the only MS user.

Correct me if I'm wrong, with the new login setup, I log out of my machine in the office and I log in to MicroStation at home, I'm using 1 license of MicroStation and I have paid for 24_7_365 access, does this obviate the need for a home use license?
