I need to move an element from one level to another in MicroStation Connect. How do I do that without move everything on that level?
There are a few ways, for a single element I usually select it and simply change the active level (even if it's already set to the level you want, just select it again). Also works with a selection set. Or the command "change level" or .....

thank you
this is how I would do it
I set the destination level to active and turn it off via the level display (might need a change in your preferences to allow active level off)
now use the change attribute tool it should now be set to the active level, click on the element you want moved to active level and if it works it disappears from view having gone to a level that is turned off... I do this a lot of times to clean up survey data on wrong level names...
but if its an entire layer you want moved all objects I use the level manager on the level name right mouse and use remap level then you can specify what level to move all the objects at once to the destination level.... pretty cool, oh dont forget to turn the level back on and save settings before you close the file this is easier thean the keyins available to move level contents to other levels...

yep
It's worked for decades. No need to get too complex when there's a simple tool to do the job.
