I typically use mulita snap mode with keypoint and intersection checked off. It seams to work fine when I snap using the place line command. But when select a bunch of elements and want to copy them & snap to the end of a line using the tentative mouse wheel button, it does not automatically snap to the end of the line. It requires about three clicks until it picks the end of the line. I only have issues during the copy command. With all other commands the multi-snap tentative works fine.
Which version of the software are you using?

put the keypoint snap back in, you need keypoint to snap to the end of a line, nearest just doesnt cut it...
Personally I dont bother with the multi snap, 90 % of the time I want keypoint ( ie ends or near mid as my Ky=2 by default in seed file)
and any other time like intersect or centre I'm in accudraw so I use keyboard C or I for centre snap or Intersect snap) works for me all the time... check your keypoint divisor setting keyin in ky=? should be set to 2 to give ends and centre snap point for keypoints.

Divisor is 2 already. This only happens when I use the powerselect and then click tentative snap right after. But if I first start any actual command like place line, circle, arc etc., then no issues, first tentative click, it snaps to the end of the line selected.
I don't recall having run into this, but it's possible that Powerselector is set to not use a snap by default. That doesn't sound familiar, but it's been a while sine I used that version.
