Is there a reason why filled arrowheads for dimensions do not mask the dimension line as they do in notes?
I personally dislike the visual appearance of the dimension and would very much like it to match how notes appear
Issue is also found in CONNECT update 12
It does the same thing in Connect too. Do you print your dims in colour?
No and printing isn't a problem as it all prints black. I just find it an annoying aesthetic when working in a dgn file and would prefer it appeared how the note appears
In that case why not just set the arrowhead to be the same colour as the line then it won't be a problem.
Because that's not the symbology I use and it would drastically alter the appearance of dimensions on screen. Though these colours all print as black, I have built up a familiarity with specific colour schemes which have been used for years which allows me to easily discern a design on-screen.
Fair enough. I guess it will come down to what bugs you the most. Bentley are unlikely to fix it is SS4. Might be worth a ticket for Connect though if you are planning to upgrade at sometime.
I've got CONNECT installed but its got more bugs than a bush-tucker trial on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
I'm also not impressed with the removal of certain tools either so its back to the V8i SS4 for the foreseeable.
I think the only way would be to create your own dim style and have a custom leader arrow head and give it a higher priority than the dim leader .. not sure if that will even work for you but just and idea....

Can't see a way to give the terminator a different priority so don't think that would work.
But you have to use a cell as a terminator so you can give it a priority.
Which version did you get this working with?
Doesn't seem to work with V8i SS4 (08.11.09.829)
Couldn't remember so just re-tried. Seems to work in Connect but not V8i.
