I have Powerdraft student edition. I had to reinstall it because I had to replace my hard drive. Its been several months since I first installed and I do not recall how to open the program. I have logged in to COONECTION Client so far but what's next? Thanks in advance.
George
You have logged into the connection client, which is good. now you need to open the application ie PowerDraft. Press Start and look for PowerDraft in the menu

So here's the next troubling question. Now that I have Powerdraft opened, I cannot find the DGN files I created before. I know I did not delete them. And they are not in the old hard drive because I saved them on a different hard drive in my PC. I have four hard drives and I have searched for them using file names and extensions. Really puzzling.
Hi George,
The organization of your work is totally your responsibility. Knowledge about files and directories is as important as knowing how to add and subtract. If you work with a computer. I guess you are a student, so take some classes. It will make your live easier ^_^
To find files I uses the little tool everything. It finds files easier than the file-explorer. HTH.
And o last advice (^_-) new question => new task, do not hide your question inside a "verified answer"

As Volker has mentioned, the location of your data is in your hands. However, Have you tried changing the file filter to *.* to see if they are not called DGN files.
Or have you tried searching Windows Explorer for *.dgn
Thanks. Yes I'm familiar with managing my files. I was just wondering if I missed doing something that I cannot file find the file knowing fully well I did not delete them. I have searched using file names, extensions (*.dgn, *.dwg, *.dxf) on all the folders. No luck. I understand that I am responsible for wherever I saved the files. Just puzzled that I cannot locate them when all I did was replaced the drive where Powerdraft was located. I accessed that drive to search for the files and they were not there either. Head scratcher for me. Should have backed them up on a zip drive.
