[CE U12] Data Cleanup Select Duplicates substantially slower?

Hi all,

Im having problems with the speed of the select duplicates function of Data Cleanup in Microstation CE Update 12 - it seems to select elements much much slower than v8i and eventually gets slower and slower once the selection set gets into the thousands (v8i doesn't have this issue and looks to be substantially faster 10s - see videos below for same data set (I gave up on CE after 2mins).

Is this something only happening to me? I am seeing similar behaviour scanning and selecting a large amount of elements using vba.
