I was upgraded fro J to v8i and I can't seem to modify the Font Library or transfer my old library from J to v8i. How do I do this?
You are posting against a discussion that is near on 2 years old and relating to the use of RSC font files after upgrading from MicroStation /J to V8i. Can you please clarify exactly what version of MicroStation your have "updated" to and from and what exactly is your issue relating to. It would be better for you to post your question as a new discussion and include full details of the version of software as well as examples outlining your issue.

I had the same situation after switching to the v8i version. I liked the microstation v8i version much more than the last one. It has become more comfortable to work in, which leads to higher efficiency and speed of work. I decided to just re-find and install the fonts that I had in the previous version. On the advice of a friend, I searched here https://upfonts.com/ink-free-font/ fonts that I can quickly install. It would be interesting to know which fonts you use most often during your work and which of them are the most convenient.
MS_FONTPATH is described as "Path or list of paths that contain RSC, SHX, or TrueType font files". That should give you the path you are looking for. Either copy your MicroStation J Font RSC files to that location, or re-define that variable to include to the location of you MicroStation J Font RSC file.

Open up v8i, access configuration variables, find variable MS_Fonts.That's the folder you want to copy your old J file to
