I am not sure if this is a dark joke from microstation, but when I start my newly upgraded microstation, it shows the first line INCH and the second line MIL in the Utilities tab.
Am I seeing it wrong or is there a bug in my upgraded Powerdraft CONNECT Edition?
I guess I can change the setting easily but I am just stunned how this is normal...
we can assume some things. but a screen shot and the design file would help determine what you are referring to.
Hi Jason,
First line is Master Units = Inches
Second line is Sub Units = Mils
1 Inch = 1000 Mils
May I know in detail, what you found wrong in this?
Thanks,
Manoj
For the information of metric users.
What is a mil measurement?Mil is a length measurement unit. Mil, also known as a thou is equal to one thousandth of an inch (0.001 inch). The mil or thou is still used in the United States to measure thickness of various materials.
Thanks for this, Mark - I've learned something new.
