Using 'place note' to place text with a box around the text. The note places correctly but then after clicking the next command, the box rotates 45 degrees. The text does not rotate, nor does the leader... just the box. What is causing this to occur? Using Connect 10.1200.40
The specific defect # 996507 was tested in CONNECT Edition (Update 13) using the file supplied by the user that started this post. The developers found it was not reproducible using newly created design files but they could reproduce using the supplied file. It has been approved to be fixed in a future release which has not yet been specified.

Hi Andrew
I am falling over this issue in Microstation CE U13.1
The issue only appears when the Place Note is operated far from GLOBAL ORIGIN (and see below)
An example is where a Geographic Coordinate System is in use but the text is being placed in a Auxiliary Coordiate system with ORIGIN far from GLOBAL ORIGIN.
Also, appears to only occur in DRAWING MODEL (D01 in example) with the above characterstics.
Attached is a file, created new (from local template, not out of the box Bentley) STYLE used for text is ACNZ.

Has this issue been resolved. I'm using MicroStation Connect Update 13 and am still getting this issue. When I place text with a box around it, it first appears fine but then when you attempt to move or edit the text the box becomes a rotated box and appears like a diamond shape.
Its the same problem as Lance Kitchens had back in June 2019.
Why has this not been addressed in Update 13?
Anyone?
Alan
