I am wondering if there is a way to create a button or something to indicate that Symbology or Constructions is Off or On. I have created custom buttons to turn Symbology and Constructions off and on this way I don't have to have the View Attributes dialog box open (takes up too much space IMHO) but I would like to know that either of those attributes is on.
After typing this up it sounds a little dumb. I know I could just keep the View Attributes open but I am hoping that someone out there might understand what I am looking for and make a suggestion.
Microstation V8i SS4 ver. 08.11.09.832
You can use a Named Expression to control the visibility of your button to only show if constructions or symbology overrides is enabled. Therefore you would make an enabled and disabled version that would show accordingly.
Mark Shamoun, thank you for your response. Although I have used microstation for A LOT of years, I never tried to work with Named Expressions. Could you point me to some specific things I would look for? When I open Utilities>Named Expressions I see this dialog. I will try and muddle through in the mean time.
Sorry, I forgot the image
