Is there a TTF text font that matches to LEROY microstation font?
I am importing information from word and excel and the spacing is always slightly off that require some guess work.
I wanted to see if anyone has found a solution to this issue. I had found a font in the past but abandoned the solution after realizing the special font would require installations on all computers. With the new company I am with, I don't think that would be a problem to install a good TTF across all computers with real IT assistance.
I don't think Leroy is a standard Microstation font. I don't have it in either V8i or Connect.

Use a TTF font in MicroStation. Then you won't have that problem.

There's not a lot to installing a TTF font: just drop the file into the Windows \Fonts folder.

Yeah it's used by our TXDOT as well as TXLEROY. I was hoping some other entity used it as well.
We are restrained to using the LEROY font for all items and not to use a TTF.
No but at the time the other offices were not capable of doing it themselves. They couldn't even install a toner cartridge into a plotter and ended up paying a repair company $150 to put it in.
When you use a non-standard RSC font in MicroStation V8i and beyond the software will produce a temporary TTF font in the folder "GeneratedTTFonts" if there is not an equivalent TTF. If this LEROY RSC type font is required and produced by TXDOT then you would need to obtain it from them. If the justification of this text is not working as expected you might like to have a look through the following options.
