We have a dwg which contains callouts however when opening the dwg in MicroStation, these callouts are rotated and do not look like they should. Anyone seen this before and how do we resolve this?
Any advise will be much appreciated.
Which version of MicroStation are you using?

Thanks Reginald. Hopefully this is being resolved.
The mtext is generated using standard Text Styles (Arial Font) and rotated along the route being designed.
Hi Rupinder,
Have you seen this behavior in more than one file? The mtext in the file your provided say rotation angle was zero even though it was rotated along the route of an element. Did you input the rotation or select the element to route the text?
Hi Reginald, the mtext is showing as zero because these are placed perpendicular to the road centreline by the design software.

so what does that mean?
Isn't the Mtext an plain DWG Element or is it a proxy element by an Autodesk vertical application like Civil3D?

The Mtext that don't print correctly are plain DWG text elements
