I know I have asked a few questions relating to SHEET INDEXING.... all still valid.
However, this is a question for you all...
Has anyone successfully setup and using sheet indexing.....!!

I would like Bentley to work on some user files and show us it working
Same here. Looked at it, wanted it to work, but more hassle working around the really simple limitations.
I don't know why you cant just point to a folder and let it harvest your sheets and file based on file or model name + a field for Rev
As before, I've been purposely steering clear of Connect as (judging from a number of recent topics) it seems that its still nowhere near fit for purpose. I've seen this Sheet Index feature mentioned but had no idea what it did so I've just watched the YouTube video above to get an understanding of what its about and I can safely say that its a feature I will certainly be avoiding. I can't understand why Bentley chooses to promote an AutoCAD method of working (as Ian mentions above) with multiple sheets in a DGN. When I last experienced that in an office solely using AutoCAD it was utterly awful; huge DWG file sizes, all sorts of garbage geometry drawn in different places, floor plans not aligned relative to Global Origin (only 1No. design model is permitted in a DWG iirc), only 1 person can edit the sheets at a time etc... i.e. just a big mess! Yes AutoCAD users think its the best way of working but they have no idea of the beautiful simplicity that organised multi-file drawing composition and MicroStation's superior reference file system provides yet ironically with this new bloatware Bentley is trying to encourage us away from that way of working.
