I am having sporadic issues with microstation crashing in general and blocking out certain functions.
When im trying to save a print:
the print wont save (nothing happens when I hit the save button), or it will click save but the print will fail.
When im trying to open certain files that open perfectly on someone elses computer:
sometimes the level and reference dialog don't open, or open with blacked out areas similar to the above.
Sometimes clickling the toolbar (File etc.) doesn't do anything.
I've uninstalled and installed SS2,3,4 and the same issues are there.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

what do you mean save a print? do you mean print to pdf and let it save the pdf?
as for screen issues sounds like video driver problems... your also using a very old redundant version of microstation .. I prefer to update to ss4 but thats no longer available so i suggest if you cant fix these video issues you get your bosses to approve upgrade to ssV10 which is the latest V8iss type version it may help repair ref manager etc and let you use the later autocad files recognition as well as a lot of fixes between ss2 and ssv10 ...especially printing issues....

Yes save to PDF. I didn't find an answer and ended up switching computers.
