Please assist with the functionality of AutoZ. From the top my drawing looks fine but in the front view the supposed flat lines are at different heights. I have tried the AutoZ function, but don't seem to get it right.
I'm not familiar with AutoZ. Is that a custom tool? You can select the elements and use the element information dialog to see what the Z values are and change them in that dialog.

Maybe this will work for what you need.... there is also the old ModZ.ma but it doesn't always work with some element types.
Hi Martin,
I've have never used the tools you show in your screen shot, but you could try using Accudraw with the Sticky Z Lock enabled. When you do this and you lock the Z in the Accudraw dialog, the first snapped point of a new element will set the z depth and each subsequent point of this element will be at that same depth.

Looking at the screen capture this appears to be tools used within a custom ribbon produced by BMW. If the suggestions from the various users have not helped you may need to contact the users at BMW that produced this custom configuration.

Good morning all, thanks for the assistance and advice so far.
Hi Dominic, your solution (Maybe this will work for what you need.... ), Set Element Elevation seems exactly what I need if I look at the short clip. But I do not have the "Set Element Elevation" button under: (Drawing > Home > Manipulate > More > Set Element Elevation). See screenshot for my buttons available.
Hi Ron,
I will make use of the Sticky Z Lock button from now on which you introduced me to, thanks.
