On Friday all was running good on MicroStation Connect Edition 11, then around 2:30 when I try to reference in a file it locks up and I had to control-alt-delete to get out of MicroStation. I try again this morning and still locking up when I try to reference in a file, its happening to all my drawings.
thanks
I would make a new file from your seed file. Reference your troubled file into it and merge this troubled file into the new file. You may have some corruption in your file. This will help eliminate the corruption.

Ok I will try that, thanks
Interweb guess it could be a network path or something similar. Try constructing a key-in to attached a valid file. [Example rf=C:\temp\plan.dgn]. If that locks it up you may want to rename your UPF file. [C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Bentley\MicroStation\10.0.0\prefs\Personal.upf]. You may loose some other settings when you do that, mostly GUI.

Attaching a reference file locked Microstation cold. Interweb guessing it was a network resource or something couldn't be reached. By keying in a valid file name the file would attach and also reset the default path for the next time.
