I bought a license for MicroStation over 30 years ago and have subscribed ever since, I do find that the subscription is a bit pricey for what I get in return. What I would like to know whether I am getting the most out of my subscription fee of £1050 per annum, so apart from the incremental updates and bug fixes, for example can you advise if I have access to all the learning material as a subscriber or do I have to pay extra for this, if I do have to pay extra then why?.
I would like to hear from other individuals who have to pick up this tab every year.
If you are on Select then you have access to the Bentley Learn website.

I've never found it that useful and it's very slow but it does have training videos etc on it.
There are prescheduled live virtual trainings all the time that you can find here https://pages.info.bentley.com/learning/ these are covered as part of the SELECT subscription. You can see all of the benefits listed on the Bentley website https://www.bentley.com/en/subscriptions/select-subscription/software-subscription-for-any-size-organization. Should you need technical assistance you can call in to 1800Bentley, or submit a support ticket through your connect portal at connect.bentley.com. I hope this is helpful. Have a great afternoon!

I agree with Duncan. And I'll add, over the years, service has gotten worse and price has gone up aggressively. And the most recent engine, Connect r12 is real buggy and Bentley seems uninterested it bringing it up to standard, relying on users to find, troubleshoot and document the multitude of issues. I too have used this software a long time, pretty much from the beginning. I wish I had made a different choice, I would not recommend Bentley products to anyone.

I have checked out the Bentley Learn site and I find that it is quite close to useless, in terms of the amount of time that you have to wait for training material to be listed, this is close to watching paint dry. This may sound a bit harsh but I'm used to looking at YouTube or Udemy tutorials, the content is presented within seconds and you can start learning.
I have looked at several tutorials which are okay but looked like they were made in the 80's, maybe......
