Is it possible to measure area of a shape/associative region in report by named boundary?
Lorys said:work around would be to create a tag set and tag the said objects then you can create tag report or in CE create items and use that for reporting
With MicroStation CONNECT you need neither tags nor Item Types to report on element data. Andrew's description shows how to write an Area Report, and my article about Area Reports tells much the same story (with the benefit of a DGN example).

Thanks for the mention! AreaAnnotator CONNECT Edition has been available for some time. AreaAnnotator V8i is still available.

AreaAnnotator V8i remains freeware. AreaAnnotator CONNECT Edition includes several new features (e.g. alternative measurement units) and requires purchase of a license.

ORD Update 7 uses Microstation CE Update 12 as it's PowerPlatform

The thing is, how to prepare report where:
- shapes are inside predefined named boundary
- shapes can be sliced by named boundary
- shapes on different level
- result with cumulative area of shapes on level from named boundary.
eg. Level name Area
Pavement 969
Road 1269
:)
I use OpenRoads CONNECTt Edition - 2019 Release 7 Update 7 - Version 10.07.00.56.
I will try as you suggest, thx.

You haven't told us which version (e.g. v10.x.y.z) of MicroStation you are using. Let's assume that it's MicroStation CONNECT, in which case you can write a Report to harvest areas.
