Hello,
I have issue with opening one 3D model in Bentley View Connect Edition (see attached log file). I am currently using version 11 and I tried updating it to version 12 but I ran into another problem where I can't install it successfully. I opened another thread for that issue HERE. I tried updating my gpu driver (using Nvidia RTX 2070) but it didn't help with opening the file. I have 24GB of RAM, Intel i7-8700 and using Windows 10. Does anyone has any ideas what could be the issue?
Thank you

Hi Andrew,
I actually managed to open up the file. It wasn't the software that was the issue, it was the file I tried to open. The file was the Civil3D model that I had to run recovery on and after that it worked.
Thank you anyway!

An Exception 0xc0000005 error, shown in the log file, can be quite generic so that would really be no help. What sort of "3D Model" is this? What type or format of file? What is the error? How are you trying to open this file, from within the software or by double-clicking? It would be helpful if you could also locate the Minidump log which is advised to be located at:
"Wrote a mini-dump type 0x4 to "C:\Users\matej.balog\AppData\Local\Temp\Bentley\View\10.0.0\MiniDump.dmp"."
You might find it better to log a Service Request for a Bentley Support specialist to have a closer look at this.
