I know that this has been briefly discussed in another post but @KarishmaAnthony please can you carry out the same comparison tests on a win7, i7 pc (3-4 years old), with 24GB RAM and a standard HDD, using a 1mb file. I would suggest that this is a more realistic test. Look forward to your revised tests.
So Karishma Anthony over to you for some new performance figures that are more realistic. Can you let us know when these are to be posted. I assume that you will do a new blog covering these.
I may be mad... but from my tests at various clients, using various PC specs and file setups. I have found U13 to be faster.. not in all areas, but in general.
Stuart.. I advise you to carry out your own tests on your hardware, that is the only way you can actually compare results.
find 5 files are various setup, sizes, # of reference files, include files with DWGs
Run the tests in MS U12 and then the same files same tests in U13
