Connect r13. I like to keep the ribbon out of site so I click the little arrow up by the Search Ribbon box. Every time I change models the thing unhides. Am I doing something wrong or is there a new setting?
The first item to check would be whether you have Saved Settings and whether you have full Read+Write permissions to the User Preference File (UPF).

Not sure if this is a new preference but the "Expand on Mouse-Over" may be related to what you are asking here.

Thanks for the reply Andrew. But none helped. Deleted my UPF (never a bad idea), but I did have full RWED permissions for that. Mouse over on/off no help as well. Attached is a new file, created a model for testing, does the same thing. Not for you?

I tried your file but the Ribbon remains minimized when switching between the two files when I double click on the different Models in the Models dialog. Can you try to restore the defaults rather than just deleting the upf file?

Thanks folks, thought it might just be me. Wouldn't deleting Personal.upf restore defaults? I just loaded r13 last Friday.
