Connect r13. I like to keep the ribbon out of site so I click the little arrow up by the Search Ribbon box. Every time I change models the thing unhides. Am I doing something wrong or is there a new setting?
Well Dan's link/fix (restoredefaults) worked for a month. If I'm going to have to restore defaults to get it to work, I'll need a seed with the miriad changes I need, config variable, user preferences, etc. cause there's no way I can remember them all.
If someone has a fix to restore hidden ribbon, I'm all ears. Wiping all my settings is a bad option. Otherwise I'll just file it with the 10 or 20 workarounds I need to Connect. Really $ucks.................

Warning to anyone using Dan's link to restore defaults- You will lose a bunch of settings. I think I've restored everything except my little piece of custom ribbon I had created, but I'll find it.
Odd buggy program. I used the -restoredefaults switch, then opened file, docked a couple tool boxes, and ribbon still wouldn't stay docked. So I did it again, docked tools on edge one at a time, got rid of view groups at the bottom, floated Accudraw and it's still working fine. Thanks so much! Now for the other 20 some minor issues. I do notice an old ugly back again- When I got to backstage I get prompted to create a new file, sometimes. Will report back when ribbon issue comes back.
Thanks folks, thought it might just be me. Wouldn't deleting Personal.upf restore defaults? I just loaded r13 last Friday.
