I see there is a problem with fence stretch with new solids cut
- the profile is not moving with cuted stretched walls - can you confirm ?
Martin
Hi Martin,
what kind of solids are you using, parametric? And if this is case is the profile constrained?
Solid by construction without switched Parametric … Profil is rotate block and Cut with profil Show
Hi Martin, could you please your file with me? I don't understand how you have a non-parametric solid showing the input profile...my bad.
Thanks
Here you are.
Propably when you cut solid it become parametric and you can't stretch by fence to keep this parametric settings

Hello Martin,
Thanks for sharing DGN. I have following points to clear on this...
1. The Fence Stretch operation that you are performing is an independent Feature operation altogether. After performing it you will see a New Feature entry 'Fence Stretch #4' in Properties dialog box.
2. The visible Profile (Blue Shape) is an Input Element to Cut Feature. It is an imbedded property of Cut Feature but in visible form at present.
3. The Fence Stretch Feature operates only on Solid/Surface Geometry and not on its visible/invisible input or imbedded Elements (you can check this even by hiding input element of Cut Feature). That's why after performing Stretch operation if you change width of visible cut profile (Blu Shape) then you will see Cut wall to move further keeping distance = stretch distance with the Right vertical side of Blue Shape.
4. The Best Practice is to Have a Parametric Shape for Cut Profile to modify width of a Cut Feature...and totally avoid Fence-Stretch operation to do the same.
