Apparently in Connect update 13 labels do not update when I change Item properties. In older versions this worked correctly.
See attached screenshot. When I change the item property "01-lokaalnaam" from "test" tot "test5" this is not reflected in the attached label.
This makes Update 13 completely worhtless. I have to uninstall it from the workstations on which it is already installed.
I just hope I missed something but I am afraid I did not.

It seems unfortunately you do not miss anything :-(
I can confirm the problem on my MicroStation CE Update 13 installation, whereas Update 11 installed on another notebook works as expected.
Unforutnately I am not aware of "label update key-in" similar to e.g. text fields update.

I agree, it's critical bug. And very dangerous. I will have to discuss with my customers whether they use Labels + ItemTypes in their projects.
Bentley, you recommend to replace tags by ItemTypes + Labels combination, so it's crucial MicroStation feature. How you can let go such bug to public release? Did you give up quality control and software testing?

Are those text fields part of text elements inside a cell? That is, is 'label' a synonym for 'cell'?

I agree. Is this related to the problem I posted about text fields in cells? That is supposed to have been fixed for Update 13.

I do not think so, the label is just label, not cell. And it works in U11 (have no U12 installed to test it).

It's a cell!
See Carl Myhill response in this thread.
We need a Service Ticket for the problem - and I hope, the Product Managers find a way to solve this before U14...
A Report shows the Changes in your Items correct, so they are changed, but not displayed.
Also: The Key-In PLACE LABEL gives "Command not defined for this Application" in U13.
