I have recently updated to Connect update 13 - 10.13.00.48. running on windows 10 Pro version 1803.
I have noticed when I select the edit text tool [A-4] then edit a text element, after editing the tool is reset back to Element Selection. Before this update the edit text tool would still be active so I could go ahead and modify another text element. However now I have to type A-4 again to active the edit text tool, edit a second piece of text which then resets the tool back to element selection so each time I have to re-activate [A-4] the edit text tool. When I have a number of text elements needing to be edited this extra step of having to active the edit text tool every time is a little frustrating.
How can I get the edit text tool to stay active???
I too have noted this, as have others, and is a complete pain in the you know what. This surely can't be WAD and must be a bug.
I did a search trying to find an existing thread regarding this issue but didn't find one. Would you have any links to threads if there are any others out there?

and learned you can just double click on a text element in order to begin editing, so a work around, but this is not as streamlined a workflow for me as just having the edit text tool continuously active.
