Dear Forum,Does anyone have any issues with Microtation displaying AECOSim created solids? I use Signal Sighting tool, which is built onto Microstation SS3 and the tool crashes when putting the driver camera view on to view:Solid. The Model is large ,totals 700mbs for all Designs within it, Signals and Design Models, but its not a size i usually have issues with. This is an age old query of mine as to exactly how much extra memory displaying solids takes up in Microstation and its still something i am unsure of, as i am with the display of Standard solids/AECOSim solids, if there are issues at all?Any help as to understand if this shiuld be an issue with this weight of drsign, or AECOsim created items could be causing issues in the Microstation environment would be greatfully received?
Can you clarify exactly which software this issue is regarding as the "Signal Sighting tool" you mentioned appears like it is relating to a Civil Design software package and not plain MicroStation. We can then ascertain what this is regarding and allocate it to the most appropriate Bentley Community Forum. Example files, screen captures, error logs etc. can also assist.

Its a Bentley tool which doesnt appear on their site and is called 'Signal Sightijng' or 'Solv Sightijng'. I cant explain why it doesnt appear on their site. I know that a new versuion is in the works and being rolled into OpenRail, but i have no details of this yet.
If it's a "Bentley Tool" is it something that was provided to you in a particular companion product that is installed on top of MicroStation or are you saying that this is a completely stand-alone tool or MDL that was provided to you? I am just trying to ascertain who can best look at the issue you are describing which may be the provider of this "Signal Sighting tool". Is this a Civil tool or application? Who provided this tool? Maybe you could provide screen capture, error logs etc to assist with understanding what this tool is associated with. I can then move this post to the most appropriate Bentley Community Forum.
