MicroStation V8i crashes when I work with large dataset

Question

Hi, 
 MicroStation V8i crashes when I work with large dataset 
 When I editing contours (large dataset) created and connected to loaded las-points (large dataset, TerraScan) and surfacemodel (large dataset, TerraModeler) MicroStation V8i crashes after about 30 changes of these contours. There is no warning window showing, the program just shut down immediately. This also happandes when I try MicroStation CONNECT Edition. 
 (I work with MDL Application TerraScan and TerraModeler to do this kind of work) 
 Is anyone familiar with this or know what I could do for avoid this to happend? 
 Could it be someting with the internal memory? How do I fix that?

Hi Elin, 
 Please review if you can find the exception history folder. https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/8832/how-to-quickly-find-and-collect-exception-logs-and-minidump-files 
 This will help understanding if issue happens with MicroStation Standalone only or caused because of Terrascan or Terrasolid software. If that is the case you need to contact them. 
 Also verify if you are using the certified V8i version or Connect version for the Terrasolid software version you are using https://www.terrasolid.com/ssl/download_software.php
