Problem converting file to Shp file

Hello,

I received the picture below (purple) as DGN file made under Microstation. The map is mollweide projected.

I want to open it as shape file with ArcGIS. When I try to do so, the projection is "bigger" than a normal mollweide projection. Are they any parameters to tune in order to convert the mollweide DGN file into a mollweide Shape file?

Thank you,

Chris.

  • when you go to the tool select geographic coordinate system what doe mstn report it to be?

if says none then select if mollweide is available then allow it to change  but don't let it reproject and save settings

Then open it in argis as dgn and  right projection, then export or save as shp file

FYI only use a back up until your 100% sure it doesn't change your  original file..
