  • If you go to the Help, and search "Google Earth" you may find the process you need. There are tools specifically for bringing across a Google Earth image.

That being said, the GE image is static - it's a snapshot of what GE shows when you get the image. it's not like attaching to the Bing Maps server.

no its not.. I use it all the time its wonderful and microstation Rocks my world and  the kmz is great... you must not be using it properly...

I use two screens one for google earth and one for my  cad work.. I make sure I have a GCS attached to my cad file and use the google earth pro 32 bit only  for V8i... then use the geographic tools bar tool to synchronise google earth, if you want to just check and object location like a pit  i use the google map tool and snap to my  pit it opens a new map and I can use the walking man to get a ground view and look around.. however If I want a airphoto of the area for a background , then there is a whole diferent  process to capture the Goggle earth.and have it georef tiffed. there is a Bentley wiki on this so search google earth image capture..  otherwise use the kmz to view you site superimposed in google earth.. Here where we live and work Bing is not as uptodate as google earth for the life of the project.. and I find Bing only works well with CE  as you dont need a MS key in CE...
