Hello,
We are currently completing some drafting markups and have taken a copy of another drafter's drawing files from another office. However when we open them, the fonts do not match the PDF versions that were sent to us. I normally use Microstation for InRoads purposes, and not drafting, so I'm not very familiar with drawing set-up and wondering if we're missing a simple step here - a cell library or a reference that may be the issue here? Any possible solutions would be helpful.
Thanks
Microstation [CONNECT] Edition? What version?
1. When opening the file, the Message Centre will tell you what the problem is. Post the error(s) here (Right click the line, Copy message(s))
2. For all versions, check MS_FONTPATH to ensure it points to the location where your fonts are residing
3. If using Windows TT Fonts, ensure your version of Windows contains the Fonts desired. Some fonts from early version sof Windows (XP and less) used fonts that no longer are available unless purchased.
4. Might be more info here if it a RSC issue? https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/microstation-forum/79376/microstation-v8i-missing-fonts
5. Post an image of teh DGN file and the PDF side by side.

Thanks Gregory - I checked the MS_FONTPATH and determined the location for the fonts and was able to copy the .rsc files into here which worked.
