I am in the process of adding dimensions along an alignment that measures the distance from the alignment to barriers on both sides. We are adding dimensions every 100 ft, but this project is very long and consists of over 7000 stations. Is there an easy way to automate this process, or are we forced to manually add dimensions?

David, I am using Microstation V8i SS4. Thank you for your suggestion, but we have found a solution. We are using XML reports combined with feature breaklines, which provides us with the offset.
can you detail how your doing that with just microstation
