One of the OBM user is mentioning that OBM bridge gets exported as a cell and not a 3d solid and requires dropping . User requirement is that " As a solid in DGN surely this should be being exported as a solid in DWG ". Any solution on this issue will help resolve users issue.

If you mean Open Bridge Modeller, then there's a dedicated Forum where you can post that question.
You can move your existing post using the More|Move button.

I agree with you .
As it is know that OBM is based on MicroStation platform and this issue is more related to MicroStation , I need some suggestion/ solution for this issue.

Why is it more related to MicroStation? Please post a small example DGN file that illustrates the OBM object.

That's to do with OBM, not with MicroStation. I would start in the OBM Forum. If the answer there is It's a MicroStation problem, then you can repost here.
Hi Jon,
The reason Vinay posted it here is that OBM creates Microstation Smart Solids (and the Bridges forum has many less users with less experience using Microstation/PowerPlatform tech).
As you may have gathered, I am the OBM user with this query. OBM exports these Smart Solids to DWGs as Cells (blocks) and we can't figure out why. Is this normally how Microstation exports Smart Solids?

Mark

Thanks for the clarification!

What are you hoping for in DWG? I'll defer to Brien Bastings or Don H. Fu on that.
it seems Mister Don H. Fu does not answers DWG related questions in Bentley forums any more! :-(
