copy paste text from one file to another

Double-check that your Microstation temporary directory (defined my the MS_TMP configuration variable) is pointing to a real location. I have seen that sort of thing happen when the directory Microstation was told to use didn't actually exist.

Thank you very much! That exactly was what we needed! We created temp folder on "C" drive and its working now! Resolved.

you can also use ref attach your source file and copy selected element(s) into the active then detach the source ref file..
