Good Afternoon -
In a particular referenced view, is there any way to control an element's visibility by color rather than level? If I have say 5 identical elements (all on the same level) in a drawing, and I turn that level off, all 5 elements are no longer visible. After changing the color of one of the elements, is it possible to turn the visibility of that element off while leaving the other 4 visible, even though they are all on the same level>
No. Might be possible to come up with a work around using Level Symbology. You can turn on Edit Self Rerences in preferences to facilitate creating a new level, then moving element to that level.

Hey - Thanks for the reply.... I figured it was gonna be a no, but never hurts to ask!!
In V8i there are such a thing as Displaysets. This allows you to visibly isolate elements by placing them in a display set and turning on the view flag for displaysets.
I haven't played with them much, but that may be a tool you might find useful. I'm not sure if it carried forward into CONNECT.
