Hi,
I have to place cells along a curve at a fixed distance,
cells have to be orientated to the curve (chairs along a circle)
I can use the "place points along element" but this tool doesn't rotate the cells
how to place this cells (is there a connect replacement for the celltool.ma / cellalng.ma )
Connect OBD 10.6.3.4
regards Rik
The array tool has the "Along Path" option.
Make sure the "Rotate Items" toggle is enabled...

It would be good if the tool would honor snap point when selecting element as start point so the last copy could end with the path and not go over it. You placed 10 copies but only 9 of them are on line as it didn't fit.

Post an example showing how you'd want the snap point to affect the result?
Here's another example where the square is touching the path.
It's nice that it doesn't matter where you identify the square, it's relative position to the arc is preserved...
Also, while the snap point on the element being arrayed doesn't matter, the start and end points you identify on the path do...so for example, it I want to position the shape (below) on the path relative to it's right edge, I could use intersect snap to identify the path start point, etc.
Thanks. Didn't now about this trick. This screenshot should be definitely be added to documentation as now there is only one animation which is too simplistic.
