&lt;p&gt;What you are seeing, as a mask of white, is caused by anti-aliasing (smoothing) of the lines. It is more prominent when the background color is light.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you set &lt;strong&gt;Anti-alias Lines&lt;/strong&gt; to&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Off&lt;/strong&gt; in preferences it will remove the white edge mask on the line work, but it will also remove the smoothing.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I checked and it seems to work the same in both V8i and Connect.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
