I can't seem to find where I posted this file (maybe just sent it to support).
John Frampton: from this thread Hi Roy, F. is because the TX & TH of the element is not TXT Style times the Annotation Scale but more of values from the TXT Style and yes apply annotation scale to me. I think it is a small difference but to store or show the calculated value would be wrong. Maybe we could add the calculated value as a tool tip. I am guessing that in G. you are referring to the Leroy lettering guides, but looking at them there is no common multiplier. So I am not sure exactly what you are after with this item. Would you take a minute to lay out a small chart or diagram as to how this would work? "The Leroy template sizes are 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 175, 200, 240, 290, 350, 425, and 500 with the height of the letters indicated in thousandths of an inch." Thanks much, ~john.

John,
Much of what I was needing is already working in V8i Text & Dimension Styles in that many settings are now relative to TH. Mainly what I would like to do is create one Style for Leroy (1/1000 th of an inch of printed output). Then if I had a "Text Size modifier" which would be applied as a scale factor to the Style, I could place text at a 80 Leroy by choosing Style "Leroy" with a "Text Size modifier" of 80. As it is now I would need a seperate Style for 80 Leroy, 100 Leroy, & 120 Leroy.
Thanks - Roy
Hi Roy,
These are great suggestions. Thanks for spending the time to think about these tools and coming up with suggestions for consolidation. I will mention your comments to our Product Designer.
Thanks,

Edited previous post to add 1.7 & insert new 2.6
Bentley, don't take my long winded CRs at disappointment; I think you guys do a great job! These are just some of my ideas (just need to jot them down); I was just looking for feedback.
Thanks all,
Roy

Fix Toggle Make it work using the insertion/Edit About point not like the CURRENT Text Node one that uses the text Justification point!!
Create new automatic texr rotation also based upon view. This rotation would force the text angle relative to the view to filp 180º if it exceeds a maximum vertical angle of 100º (controlled via. config.). In this case text which falls between 100º & 280º would be rotated 180º (Active Angle - 180) to be according to typical plan conventions.
Add Setting Leader This will fix the problem if an associated leader's terminator crosses from left to right or vice versa
Add Toggle & make it work using the insertion/Edit About point not like the CURRENT Text Node one that uses the text Justification point!!
