Maximum number of Tags in Tag set

Please supply a DGN file that contains your Tag Set definition.

I'm using v8iss4...

open the tag set definition  tool from element >tags>define see and count the number of tags in there right hand side scroll down

I have 2 tag sets in the same dgn  one has 34 tags  and the other has 20 tags not all of them are populated and not all set to display but they are there and available for use...

I use these in my title block to cover not only current rev but all future revs up to F  and just turn off display of not used ones yet.

you will have difficulty adding extra tags to an existing tag set... as a tag set is set with the ones you built it with, it can be changed  but its not straight forward like when you  build it to start with... much easier to make an extra or additional new tag set with the extra tags you need...

I also use V8i SS4, but in combination with Connect Edition udate 13 - maybe that's the source of the problem. Sometimes we see different behaviour, sometimes it's the same. Yesterday I defined some 18 tags in a set (also for titleblocks with ProjectWise) , and out-of-the blue, I lost 6, returning me back to 12. I checked over and over again, the definitions are exactly the same as the others. I placed the complete tag set a few times. But now some tags of the set just disappeared. I created a Service Ticket. We'll see. But since support has been moved to India - the quality of the support is not what it used to be :-/

No.

Of course some limit exists, but it is not 12 for sure.

I tried to create TagSet with more than 12 Tags in it and I see no problem.

As Jon wrote, can you provide DGN with your TagSet definition?
